Dr. Xinghao (Shaun) Yan is currently an Associate Professor in Supply Chain Management at the College of Business and Innovation, University of Toledo. Prior to joining the University of Toledo in 2016, Dr. Yan was an Assistant Professor at Ivey Business School, Western University.

Dr. Yan’s research encompasses and integrates several disciplines including operations management, supply chain management, marketing and healthcare management through the modelling-based and evidence-based research methods. His research interests range from information asymmetry and uncertainty in supply chains and their impacts on supply chain performance, quality contracting, supply chain coordination, healthcare supply chain management, as well as behavioral operations in supply chain management. He has published research articles in two of the Financial Times Top 50 journals in the field of Operations Management: Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, as well as other internationally prestigious journals such as Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, IIE Transactions on Healthcare System Engineering, International Journal of Production Economics, and Omega.
