Puppets cross borders often taken for granted: live and inanimate; object and theatre; real and surreal. This workshop will describe the history of this unique media, provide examples of the work of several puppeteers that can be referenced in the classroom, and instruct participants on some of the techniques used to construct and perform with a variety of different puppets.
