GenCon is the largest gaming convention in the United States, and its Trade Day is a program for educators, professors, graduate students, librarians, and retailers that is designed to provide hands-on training, share research, network, and professional development opportunities through seminars, demonstrations, and events. At this year’s Trade Day I presented a “playtest” of FYOV through Central Michigan University. The playtest allows for professionals to experience the game directly and their feedback can be used to make adjustments to the final product.
