description

  • This invited article--which will appear in an upcoming edition of PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art--will discuss the pieces that were exhibited at the Guggenheim museum in New York City between June 30 and October 4, 2017 as part of it's exhibit titled "Mystical Symbolism: Joséphin Péladan and the Rose+Cross Salon, 1892-1897." The works of art at this exhibition will be related to the Symbolist theatre movement that was thriving in Paris when these pieces were originally presented in occult art salon events.
