From 2010-2013 I cohosted a podcast dedicated to Critical/Qualitative Communication Research titled The Critical Lede (https://thecriticallede.com/). The podcast consisted of interviews with scholars in the field, roundtables about current topics in academia and reviews of scholarship.
The podcast was featured on iTunes and Stitcher. There are now several podcasts dedicated to these topics, but The Critical Lede was the first.
I was responsible for co-hosting, audio production, promoting and recruiting guests. The Critical Lede had a large reach. I have included letters of support written for the podcast, as well as a sample of the kind of publicity the podcast received.
In 2013, the Podcast was handed off to new hosts. Production ended in 2017. I am responsible for all episodes before May 31st, 2013.
