description

  • The goal of this work is to compare results using Rasch and structural equation modeling (SEM) techniques across different datasets with regards to validity evidence. The primary focus is to explore the different types and overall degree of validity established by each of the above mentioned statistical techniques. Following this study, researchers can assign, interpret and compare validity evidence when using Rasch or SEM techniques. This study will also help future researchers to assess inferences from these techniques more carefully and correctly.
