As the VP of Divisions, I organize the pre-service mini-con for the OAEA in which experienced teachers offer guidance to those preparing to enter the field. It includes an FAQ, mock interviews, and portfolio critique. This was the first year it was online,, and I was responsible for recruiting speakers, organizing the schedule, providing support materials, and publicizing the event.
