Dr. Yongqing Wang is an Assistant Professor (Research Track) at The University of Toledo. Her research focuses on the molecular and epigenetic mechanisms underlying fibrosis and vascular dysfunction in systemic sclerosis (scleroderma). Current studies investigate the roles of epigenetic regulators in fibroblast activation, endothelial injury, and vascular smooth muscle cell dysfunction, with the goal of identifying novel therapeutic targets. His work aims to develop innovative translational strategies, including targeted drug delivery systems and molecular interventions, for the treatment of fibrotic and vascular diseases.
