Rong Liu graduated with a PhD degree in Statistics from the Department of Statistics and Probability, Michigan State University in 2009. Currently, Dr. Liu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at The University of Toledo, Toledo OH. His research interests are nonparametric regression, spline and kernel smoothing, dimension reduction, statistical computing, credit prediction and financial econometrics.
