Dr. Bob Yonker is an Associate Professor of Management in the Neff College of Business and Innovation at the University of Toledo. He earned his Ph.D. and M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Missouri–St. Louis, and his B.A. in Psychology from Bowling Green State University. With over 22 years of experience in teaching, research, consulting, and training, Dr. Yonker is dedicated to helping individuals develop professional competencies that lead to meaningful life outcomes. His expertise centers on negotiation, conflict management, and employee well-being. Dr. Yonker has received numerous accolades for his teaching excellence, including the Neff College of Business DeJute Award for Undergraduate Teaching Excellence and the University of Toledo Outstanding Teacher Award. His research has been published in respected journals such as The International Journal of Conflict Management, The Journal of Applied Social Psychology, The Journal of Management Development, and Development and Learning in Organizations, among others. In addition to his academic contributions, Dr. Yonker has served as Associate Editor of The American Journal of Business and held leadership roles as Director of the Klar Leadership Academy, the Advanced Leadership Academy, and the Honors Program within the Neff College of Business. Outside of academia, he enjoys practicing yoga, playing pickleball, doing CrossFit, and spending quality time with his family and dogs.
