My name is Martin Skie and I am an associate professor at the University of Toledo Medical Center in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery. I am a board certified surgeon with a ceritificate of added qualification in hand and upper extremity surgery. I completed residency training at the Medical College of Ohio. After finishing a hand fellowship at Loma Linda University, I returned to Toledo in 1995 to build an academic practice.
Aside from being an Orthopeduc surgeon, I helped raise three sons and was an acivtive member of out community. Working through our sportsmedicine program, I have served as a team physician for highschool sports, and couached youth basketball. I try to be a role model and mentor for students from grade school through post graduate training.
