I was appointed Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Toledo in August, 2013.
I am Board Certified in Family Medicine 2013, and Board Certified in Obesity Medicine in 2019.
I worked at the Main Campus UT Physicians Clinic from 8/2013 to 5/2017 to serve the University of Toledo employees and the community.
I worked at the Main Campus Student Clinic from 8/2013 to 5/2017 to serve the University of Toledo students.
I am currently working at UT Primary Care Physicians Clinic at Regency Court.
I was actively involved in developing my practice at Regency Court and consistently grew my practice and produced above the expected RVUs over the years.
I have been working for the last few months to develop a weight loss program,
and currently serve the institution as the Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program.
I precept the Physician Assistant Students during the Family Medicine rotation and the preceptorship rotation,
I have mentored Physician Assistant Students from July 2016 to 6/2019 for total of 423 hours.
I have mentored and provided remediation for the students with academic jeopardy and was successful to help them improving their academic performance and not to be dismissed from the program.
I serve on seven Committees in the Physician Assistant Program including Didactic Curriculum Committee, Clinical Curriculum Committee, Executive Curriculum Committee, Student Progress Committee, Admissions Committee, Physician Assistant Program Self -Assessment Committee.
I have mentored third year and fourth year medical students from July 2015 to June 2018 for total of 309 hours.
I also assisted in Debriefings of third year medical students from July 2016 to June 2018 for a total of 16 hours.
I was an instructor for first year medical students for Clinical Reasoning Cases (CRC) from July 2016 to June 2017 for a total of 32 hours.
I completed my resideny at The Family Medicine Residency Program at University of Toledo (2010-2013)
