I am a Transplant Surgeon, specializing in Multi-organ transplantation (kidney, liver and pancreas transplant) along with Total Pancreatectomy islet auto-transplantation, living donor nephrectomy and dialysis access surgeries. My research interests are outcomes research in the field of kidney and pancreas transplantation, utilization of marginal kidney allografts (high KDPI and acute kidney injury), organ preservation with hypothermic and normothermic pulsatile perfusion, Hepatitis C positive and HIV positive kidney transplantation and immunosuppression optimization and adherence.
