Dr. Wang is Department Chair and Professor in the Neff Finance Department at the University of Toledo. He teaches at both undergraduate and MBA levels.
Dr. Wang's research focuses primarily on corporate finance, econometrics, and investments. His current work includes conditional covariance modeling, conditional performance modeling, mutual funds, institutional investors, and corporate governance. His work is published or forthcoming in journals such as European Financial Management, Financial Analysts Journal, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Empirical Finance, Journal of Financial Research, Journal of Fixed Income, Journal of Futures Markets, Journal of International Business Studies, and etc.
Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in finance from Washington State University. He also has a master's degree in biochemistry from McGill University and a bachelor's degree in biology from Shandong University.
