Dani G. Zoorob

  • With over 5 years of direct academic involvement, the field of medicine keeps intriguing me and my desire to be involved in it grows by the day. After graduating as an Obstetrician/Gynecologist in 2006, I dedicated one year of clinical service to charity work and servicing the underserved. This was made possible through the help of the Ministry of Health in Lebanon as well as the American University of Beirut. My realization at the time was that the care of elderly women was inadequately attended to. This kindled my interest in Geriatrics. In 2007, I proceeded with another residency and then a fellowship training in Urogynecology as this allows practitioners to address the needs of elderly ladies and help offer them an improvement in their quality of life. As a result and since 2014, my clinical and academic career have focused on developing modalities for better servicing the geriatric population as well as educating medical students and residents about this field and its importance.
