Daniel Boden joined the Department of Political Science and Public Administration in 2019. Prior to joining the University of Toledo, he was an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science and director of the Master of Public Administration program at Western Kentucky University. Dan received his Ph.D. in Public Administration and Master of Public Administration degrees from Virginia Tech. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Brigham Young University. His professional experiences include management roles in the public, nonprofit, and for-profit sectors. His research interests are interdisciplinary in nature and include the intersection of politics and history, higher education policy, and public organization.
