Bassam Hasan is currently an Associate Professor of Information Systems in the Information & Operations Technology Management (IOTM) in The College of Businesses & Innovation at The University of Toledo. He holds a Ph.D. in MIS from The University of Mississippi and an M.B.A in CIS from Missouri State University. Prior to joining The University of Toledo, Dr Hasan was Instructor of Information Technology (IT) at Middle Georgia State University.
Dr Hasan engages in various areas of research in the computing field. His recent research has focused on acceptance of ERP systems and knowledge management and sharing in IT environments. Dr Hasan has published his research work in a number of high-quality IS journals and presented his work at various regional, national, and international information systems conferences.
In teaching, Dr Hasan has taught many technical, conceptual, application, and research seminar courses. His teaching interest include software and application development, database management, IT project management, Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) systems, IT Management, research seminars, and other topics.
