Angela Scardina, DNP, RN, APRN is the Director of the Advanced Practice Programs at the University of Toledo College of Nursing. Dr. Scardina has been an active contributor to the College of Nursing for the past 15 years serving in various faculty roles educating APRN's with an emphasis on caring for older adults, patient's with dementia and frailty. She has active research interests in using pharmacogenomic information to safely prescribe in older adult patient populations. She has served on the Board of Ohio Association of Advanced Practice Nurses as Chair of the Education Committee and served as their President helping to remove barriers to APRN practice in Ohio.
