I am an Associate Lecture and current Program Director for Mechanical Engineering Technology at the University of Toledo, Ohio. I hold the degrees of Ph.D. in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania in 2004, and B.E. and M.E. in Engineering Mechanics from Tianjin University, Tianjin, China.

I had few years of teaching experience in mechanical engineering and over 15 years industrial experience, most recently held industrial positions with Tenneco and MKP Structural Design Associates, Inc. in the auto industry where I had been assigned on product development programs and involved in the whole cycles of product development from virtual product design, analysis, DV/PV product evaluation through both CAE and Bench/Dyno/Vehicle testing,  on product design/release and product validation.
