  • Ally Day is a Feminist Disability Studies scholar who, when not researching, writing, and teaching academically, is an avid yogi and cross-fitter, trained birth doula, and creative writer. As a teenager she trained in and continues to be passionate about public radio and journalism; as a young adult, she lead backpacking trips in New England and Alaska through the Girl Scouts; today she mentors youth in Toledo through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
