Durham, PT, DPT, PhD, RN; Jennifer DeVries DNP, APRN, FNP-C</span></p> <p><span> </span></p> <p><span>As hybrid healthcare programs continue to expand, creating meaningful interprofessional education (IPE) experiences presents both challenges and opportunities.<span>  </span>While many hybrid programs successfully deliver diadactic content online, fostering authentic interdisciplinary collaboration among learners in a hybrid and virtual format requires intentional design.<span>  </span>This presentation will describe the development of structured IPE experiences for hybrid Physical Therapy (PT) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) students. This design can be applied to various healthcare disciplines seeking solutions for meaningful interdisciplinary experiences that combine asynchronous learning, virtual collaboration, and in-person clinical immersion experiences to promote impactful team-based care competencies. The initiative was developed to move beyond passive online discussion board and observational activities by creating interactive learning including gamification through virtual escape rooms, telehealth simulations, and in-person communication exercises utilizing case-based learning experiences focused on real-world collaboration between PT and APRN learners.<span>  </span>Students jointly utilize their discipline specific knowledge to perform patient assessments and develop coordinated treatment plans.<span>  </span>The IPE design presented is built on the foundational competencies established by the Interprofessional Education Collaborative (IPEC), the revised standards within the Healthcare Simulation Standard of Best Practice® Prebriefing model, the PEARLS Healthcare Debriefing Tool, and validated assessment instruments intentionally selected to support the learning experience.</span></p>
