<p>Published each year, and available as a subscription collection development product, Doody's Core Titles (DCT) consists of recommended core book titles in the health sciences. Each specialty has up to three librarian selectors, who have the responsibility of selecting titles to be scored, scoring all titles according to five basic criteria, then designating selected books as Essential Purchases. For the 2025 DCT edition, I served as a Librarian Selector for nursing-specific book titles. </p>
