  • <p><span>ACPE Standards 2025 allows programs to exempt students from certain Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experiences (IPPE) types based on an approved process of established criteria (Standard 3.1.a) and also permits remuneration for pharmacy practice experiences under certain circumstances (Standard 3.5.c). This program will explore these standards, discuss the pros and cons, and application strategies for individual institutions.</span></p> <p>Learning Objectives:</p> <p>At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:</p> <ul> <li>Explain the ACPE 2025 Standards to develop the criteria for granting IPPE exemptions and how replacement IPPEs support student preparation for APPEs.</li> <li>Summarize the policy on student remuneration during pharmacy practice experiences and the process for applying for a waiver under cooperative education programs.</li> </ul>
