Talking Points were supplementary handouts given to participants attending the Docutalks Lecture Series. The talking points were prompts used by the moderator, which followed an hour-long discussion about the documentary film. Prompts usually focused on themes, techniques, how well the documentarian conveyed their message, etc.
The final documentary by the esteemed journalist, Peter Jennings. This film discussed the growing health insurance crisis in the United States. The prompts in this handout asked participants to identify and discuss the moral and ethical considerations of a wealthy nation's obligations to the uninsured and to those bearing the cost of health insurance.
