Here I share my experience at the University of Toledo in using VIVO to take information that was siloed in our Faculty Information System and make it available to the public. I have a few remarks about the desired outcomes, the implementation we chose, some of the limitations that you may encounter if you try a similar project, and preliminary evidence of success.
