This article was a collaboration between faculty and student to inform readers of the concerns regarding the impact and realities of nurse bias while caring for a patient. It also informed readers of optimal interventions and resources for consideration to use while navigating the complexities of nurse bias and how to discuss the options with a n manager so that the best care is available to patients and the nurse is providing self care and direction. The Ohio Nurse is the main foundation publication for ONA members. It features relevant, up-to-date and nurse-centric information and is written primarily by ONA members who may also serve on ONA Committee.
