Neuroscientist studying dense-core vesicle biogenesis, intracellular trafficking, organelle dynamics, and Huntington disease mechanisms in neurons and striated muscle. Methods include Drosophila genetics, CRISPR and transgenesis, live single-vesicle imaging, quantitative microscopy, electrophysiology, muscle mechanics, and behavioral analysis. NIH-funded PI with extensive undergraduate and graduate mentorship, and lots of teaching experience.
