Caitlyn Hollingshead, MD, is an infectious diseases physician and medical educator at The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. her academic interests include undergraduate and graduate medical education, clinical infectious diseases, and the diagnosis and management of complex wounds and wound-associated infections. She serves as Program Director for the Infectious Diseases Fellowship and is actively involved in curriculum development and innovative approaches to infectious diseases and microbiology education. Her scholarly work focuses on infectious diseases and wound care, with an emphasis on translating complex clinical concepts into practical, engaging educational experiences for learners.
